Onsite Physiotherapy & Wellness was created to help alleviate some of the strain of having to make time to get to a clinic. Onsite Physiotherapy & Wellness brings the clinic and treatment to you, where you are.

Onsite Physiotherapy & Wellness clinicians are highly trained in a variety of hands on manual therapy techniques to tissue and movement dysfunctions including joint mobilization, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, and dry needling. Our clinicians are also exercise experts, and patients can expect to receive individualized exercise instruction and prescription.

About

We live active lives in a busy society. There are places to be, things to get done, and play to be had. Pain and injury limit our ability to do the things we need and want to do. And sometimes it’s hard to find the time to get to a clinic to appropriately address these pains and injuries.

After working in a traditional health care model for 10 years, Justin Carrier, PT, recognized that coming to a fixed clinic location wasn't always the most convenient for patients, leading to many missed appointments or all together not beginning needed treatment. He was also increasingly frustrated with insurance-driven care, where patient care can often be limited by what treatments insurance will or won't pay for, or limited visit allowances. These limitations can affect quality of care, consistency of care, and ultimately recovery.

Justin founded Onsite Physiotherapy & Wellness to make physical therapy treatment more accessible, allowing patients to be treated where it was convenient for them by providing mobile therapy options. Onsite’s treatment model allows patient-driven care, with the best treatment determined in cooperation with the patient and provider, creating individualized, high-quality care that is best for the patient and their recovery, rather than treatment being dictated by insurance.

Bio

I am often asked by patients if I like what I do, and my answer is a resounding, “YES!”. I’ve been inspired by the miracle of the body and felt the draw to help people heal for a long time; from my time playing soccer in high school and thinking how cool it would be have the knowledge of the athletic trainers to help an injured athlete get better, to my college anatomy courses where my interest in and awe of the human body and its workings were reinforced.

At the beginning of my career I came across a quote by C.S. Lewis that says, “The magic is not in the medicine but in the patient’s body, in the VIS MEDICATRIX NATURAE, the recuperative or self-corrective energy of NATURE. What the treatment does is to stimulate natural functions or to remove what hinders them.”, and that idea has driven the way I practice ever since. I truly believe that the body has the power to heal itself when given the right tools, and it is my job to help facilitate that. I am not the healer – the patient is;

I’m a teacher and guide. As such I continually seek to learn treatment techniques that will help me educate patients and “to stimulate natural functions or to remove what hinders them”, such as exercise therapy, Primal Reflex Release Technique, joint mobilization and manipulation, or dry needling techniques. My ongoing quest is to be my best as a therapist so I can help an individual on their road of healing and recovery, whether that’s from a shoulder surgery, whiplash from a car accident, knee replacement, low back pain, or jaw pain. Do I like what I do? I love it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Onsite Physiotherapy and Wellness clinicians treat the vast majority of musculoskeletal conditions - pain or injury of muscles, joints, and nerves. If it has to do with movement and how you participate in life, our clinicians treat it. From ankle sprains to low back pain to headaches, neck pain or jaw pain, Onsite PT clinicians can help decrease your pain, improve recovery from injury, and participate in life to the degree you want.

All examinations are done by a physical therapist, and all treatment sessions are one-on-one with a licensed, expert manual therapy clinician - either a physical therapist (PT) or physical therapist assistant (PTA). Onsite PT/PTA teams work closely together and communicate regularly to ensure that patients receive consistent, high quality care no matter which clinician is providing care.

Treatments are generally one hour long. But, the treatments are always tailored to the patient's needs, so they can be a little shorter, or if needed, a little longer.

As our name describes, patients are treated onsite, where they are, whether that’s in their home, office, or gym. Onsite clinicians come to you. We do not have a physical clinic location.

Onsite Physiotherapy & Wellness is a fee-for-service clinic that is not in-network with any insurances. Upon request, receipts can be provided that include the necessary codes to send self-claims to your insurance company.

We don't take any insurance so we can provide you better service. We provide a "cash only" (cash, credit card, Venmo, etc.) professional service of physiotherapy treatments tailored to meet your needs.

Insurance is a funny thing that can be really good, in some cases (such as a major accident or illness), or it can be bad. Bad for you, the patient, and bad for us, the doctor. Insurance companies are money making businesses and all of their rules and policies and "codes" are in place to make sure they are a profitable business.

We are here to treat you and to help you get better. We provide excellent service for a very fair price. We make sure we give you our full attention and best service to meet your needs. We feel we can do that best by not playing the insurance company game of policies, rules and "codes."

We do provide a very complete receipt of the service we perform for you which does include standard insurance codes. Some insurance companies will accept those and possibly reimburse you for what you paid, or a portion of what you paid. Some insurance companies will apply it to your annual deductible. That is something you will have to take up with your own individual insurance company.

As for us, we are here to help you feel better as soon as possible.

If you have any other additional questions please give us a call. We want you to feel comfortable with our service.
